Description :

In depth understanding of electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, channel impairments and equalization techniques.
Strong lab skills with measurement experience (VNA, TDR, Real Time/Sampling Scopes, BERT, SSA)
Strong tools knowledge (HFSS, ADS, SiSoft QCD and QSI, Cadence PowerSI/DC, Allegro, Simbeor, HSpice)
Working knowledge of IBIS-AMI models
Working experience with high speed NRZ and PAM4 Serdes, PLLs, retimers
Knowledge of the IEEE 802.3 and OIF specifications for 10+ Gpbs Serdes Interfaces
Knowledge of DDR3, DDR4, QDR simulation methodology and timing analysis
Working knowledge of system level power integrity and budgeting (DC, AC, transient analysis)
Experience generating routing requirements and electrical margins for specific interfaces and verifying their correctness
Hands on experience with a broad range of PCB materials, and a deep understanding of cost/performance trade-offs
